Hey Moosers!
As I’m sure many of you are aware, Facepunch is releasing Hardcore mode with the upcoming patch this Thursday, September 1st. This gamemode will have no team UI, no map or compass, no safe zones, no global chat, and much more! With the launch of this gamemode, we will be launching a Hardcore Monthly server that will be hosted in the US.
I’m excited to announce we also now have support for Credit/Debit card transactions on our VIP store powered by Stripe. If you are not familiar with how Stripe works, we do not store any of your payment details on our servers. It is all transmitted to Stripe and stored by them!
Additionally, we will be adding support for Alipay in the near future via Stripe. We are also looking into supporting iDEAL for some of our EU players that have been looking for alternative methods of payment.
Lastly, we are aware that server performance in the EU has not been holding up to our standards and expectations lately, and we are committed to improving this moving forward. With that being said, we have invested quite a bit placing orders with a couple other hosts that we are still waiting on to be delivered. As soon as we get them we’ll let you know and start rolling out those changes.
